I got shown this video this morning, it is a short ‘making of’ style film from when I took park in an animation marathon during the Fete De l’Anim in France.

I am interviewed at the 01:45 mark and I talk about the process we were using and our experience out there.

I’ve just got in from my graduation show, It was great to see all my classmate’s finished films. My film ‘The New Guy’ came second in the audience choice award which I’m really happy about.

I had such a great time making my film, and am really going to miss all my uni friends, I’d like to thank them for all their help and advice, along with all the tutors that helped me. I also want to thank my amazing parents for being so supportive, as well as my girlfriend who was brilliant at putting up with me spending more time at my light-box than with her.

I can’t wait to eventually upload my film for you guys to see, but until then, I will be continuing to update this blog with all my latest work and projects.

Sorry about the lack of updates lately. I had a week off from creating my student film last week as I was chosen to take part in an ‘animation marathon’ as part of the Fete de l’anim in Lille, France. It is a fantastic animation festival showcasing some amazing films. There were 14 teams of three animators from schools and studios from all around Europe. We were all given the same image to base our 10 second animation on, and only 48 hours to complete the task.

I really enjoyed my time in France, taking part in the marathon, attending all the screenings, and meeting some amazing people.
